Help

In most circumstances Users will find the Rapport 24/7 App to be very simple and easy to navigate. The following screenshots and descriptions should answer a majority of questions that may arise.

Step 1: When you install the Rapport 24/7 App, you will be required to “Login”.

Before you can Login, the Business Account Administrator will need to assign a User Name and Password to you.

If you receive a message stating that the User Name or Password is invalid, you will need to contact the Business Account Administrator and have them re-issue new Login credentials.

The User Name or Password cannot be reset in any other manner.

Step 2: Select a Script – The selection of Video Scripts will vary depending on the needs of each business and departments within each business.

You should inquire with your Business Account Administrator as to which script(s) should be used for any particular situation.

The scripts to the right are “only an example” of possible scripts for an automotive dealership. Scripts are intended to give some guidance to an individual recording the comments of another. Scripts give consistency to the message content being asked for from the person providing a Testimony or Review.

Once you determine which script to use, you should select the “Record” button at the top right corner of the screen.

Step 3: The Record Screen includes your selected script on the right side of the screen. The area on the left side provides a view of who/what you are recording.

Below this space are three controls 1) play/pause button, 2) front/rear camera button and 3) record/stop button.

When recording is initiated, a timer will countdown from 60 seconds, allowing for a maximum of one minute of recording. We suggest keeping most of your videos around 30 seconds which is the ideal viewing time.

Before going to the next screen, you have the option to play your video to be sure you want to keep it. If you decide to re-record, simply select the record button, agree to discard your prior video and recording will begin immediately.

After completing your recording, select “Next” in the upper right corner to go to the Description Screen.

Step 4: The Description Screen is used to capture a “text” description of the video event.

We suggest you seek guidance from your Business Account Manager as to what information to enter in the 3-4 fields.

For Testimonials the only required field is the “Title”.

For Reviews, a “Title” and a “Rating” are required.

Once all the required information is entered on these pages, simply select “Save” to save your video in the video upload “Queue”.

Step 5: The Video Upload “Queue” will store all of your videos until you are ready to “Upload” them. Videos will be removed from your Queue after successfully being uploaded.

We suggest you complete a daily upload at a time when you have a good WiFi connection.

If for any reason, after five upload attempts, a video fails to upload, an additional option will appear permitting you to save that video to your phone.

As long as videos are in your Queue, you may not exit from the Rapport 24/7 App. If you elect to “force quit” the App, all videos in the Queue will be lost.

Step 6: The “More” page on the right contains information we suggest you read and become familiar with.

When you first install the App on your device, the App is “not” setup to use your Cellular Data. If you want to connect using Cellular Data, simply select the button as show so it turns green.

All other selections on this page are links to the specific documents along with noting the current version of the App installed on your device.
